New York State will be implementing the following meningitis vaccine (Menactra) requirements for the 2016-2017 school year: Prior to entering 7th grade, student must receive the 1st dose of the meningitis vaccine. Sanofi U.S. is voluntarily recalling all Auvi-Q epinephrine auto-injectors due to suspected malfunctions that could deliver the wrong dose of medication. Patients who use Auvi-Q should call their pharmacy for an alternate epinephrine auto-injector.
