Genesis Pediatrics is pleased to welcome Dr. Ethan Helm as our temporary Pediatrician starting August 3, 2015 while Dr. Stoica is out on maternity leave!
Dr. Helm is from Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from the University of Arkansas Medical School, and just recently graduated from his Pediatric Residency at URMC Golisano Children’s Hospital. When he was 15 years old, he was diagnosed with Stage IV Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and his cancer survival has directed him towards medicine and medical mission work. He is married with 2 young children, ages 2 years and 3 months old. His passion for medical mission work has allowed him to spend time in India, Guyana, Guatemala, Kenya, and Lesotho. In December, the family will be moving to Cameroon in West Africa with World Medical Missions (Samaritan’s Purse) to begin a career as Christian medical missionaries.
