Caitlynn Fantigrossi, PNP-BC

Caitlynn Fantigrossi started with us at Genesis Pediatrics in June 2020. She graduated from the University of Rochester with her Masters degree, and is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Previously, Caitlynn was a Pediatric Critical Care Transport nurse at Golisano Children’s Hospital for 4 years, and a Pediatric ICU nurse for 3 years. Caitlynn is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Burn Life Support, Advanced Trauma Care and Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support. Caitlynn lives on a flower farm in Chili, NY with  her husband and golden retriever, Rosco. 

Pooja Makhija, MD

Dr. Makhija is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). She received her medical degree from Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2016 and completed her pediatric residency at Oishei Children’s Hospital in 2019. She spent a year at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri studying Pediatric Cardiology before returning back to Rochester and joining Genesis Pediatrics in July 2020. She has a special interest in caring for newborns and adolescents with mental health. Dr. Makhija is a native of Buffalo and currently resides in Brighton with her husband and puppy, Rex.
