Ranitidine/Zantac RECALL

As of April 1st, 2020, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced it is requesting manufacturers withdraw all prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) Ranitidine drugs from the market immediately.  If your child is taking this medication, please call the office or send a portal message to discuss alternative options.

In addition to the recent recall of generic Zantac tablets (Ranitidine), there has now been a recall of Ranitidine Syrup made by Lannett Pharmaceutical Company. If your child is currently taking Ranitidine Syrup, please CALL YOUR PHARMACY to find out if your medication is made by this particular company. If so, please call the office

RECALL ALERT: Infant Ibuprofen

Infant ibuprofen sold at several national retailers is being recalled because it might contain a higher concentration of ibuprofen than the normal 50mg per 1.25ml.  New Jersey-based Tris Pharma, Inc. said lots sold under Walmart, CVS Pharmacy and Family Dollar brands are impacted by the recall. The company says it has not received any reports

MEDICATION RECALL

King Bio is voluntarily recalling 32 children’s medicines recalled for possible “microbial contamination.” The affected products were produced between August 2017 and April 2018. A full list of the recalled medications and the lot numbers are available on the FDA’s website. The recall includes certain lots of 2-ounce bottles of the following products: DK Attention & Learning

RECALL: Graco My Ride 65 Convertible Car Seats

    Graco Children’s Products Inc. is recalling more than 25,000 Graco My Ride 65 convertible child car seats. The company says the seat webbing may not restrain the child in the event of a crash. The recall includes 8 different models produced between May 16, 2014 and August 1, 2014:
