Quality Improvement Initiatives

Genesis Pediatrics is always looking for ways to improve our service and provide the highest quality care to our patients. Our office has recently been participating in Quality Improvement projects, including a Patient Medication Reconciliation project and a Lead Testing Initiative.  We would like to share these results with our patients and families!

Patient Medication Reconciliation

Goal of the Project: To ensure that we have the most accurate information regarding patient medications based on the The National Committee for Quality Assurance benchmark for Patient Centered Medical Home Certification.

Lead Testing Initiative

Goal of the Project: To improve our rate of lead testing based on the American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommendation for targeted screening/testing of children 12-24 months old with identified risk.

The team here at Genesis Pediatrics is very proud of all we have accomplished thus far, and we look forward to sharing more successes with our patient families!
