Beginning on October 1, 2016, Genesis Pediatrics will be switching from a monthly, flat billing fee on unpaid accounts to an interest rate system. This interest rate is significantly lower than the average credit card at 1.25% per month. For a majority of our families, this change will result in a lower balance due.
When you arrive at the office, you will be asked to sign our revised policy which is requesting the following:
Make full payment, co-payment, or partial deductible payment of the minimum payment due (as posted at checkout) at the time of service. Payments not made in accordance with 1 of the 3 options above will be subject to an additional one-time service charge of $20.00 for setting up a deferred payment account. Unpaid balances not paid in full within 30 days of billing will be subject to an additional charge of 1.25% per month (15% per year).
As always, our goal is to support our families! Should you not be able to pay at the time of service and/or within 30 days, we encourage you to set up a payment plan with our billing department.
