Dr. Trigg is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). He earned his B.A. in History from Hamilton College in 2005 and initially pursued a career in finance. After four years, he shifted paths, moving first to Idaho and then Vermont, where he worked as a ski patroller. His experiences serving the community as an Advanced EMT sparked a passion for caring for the sick and injured, inspiring him to complete his medical school prerequisites at Castleton State College. Dr. Trigg went on to earn his medical degree from the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont in 2018 and completed his Pediatric residency at Maine Medical Center in 2021. During residency, he piloted and expanded a free bicycle helmet distribution program for children. Following residency, Dr. Trigg came to Rochester for fellowship, where he met his partner and started a family. He now lives in Fairport and enjoys spending time outdoors with his son—gardening, cooking, cycling, skiing, building furniture, and finding new ways to stay active together.
