Dr. Goodfellow is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Her journey in caring for children began with a foundation in nursing at Penn State University, followed by her medical degree from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and pediatric training at URMC in 1987. In July 1988, she founded Genesis Pediatrics, LLC—planting the seeds for a practice that would grow into a trusted medical home for generations of families.
For nearly four decades, Dr. Goodfellow devoted her life to the care of children and the support of families, guiding patients from their first days of life through their transition into adulthood. Her compassion, clinical excellence, and unwavering commitment shaped not only a practice, but a community. Upon her retirement in February 2026, she leaves behind a lasting legacy—one of healing, mentorship, trust, and love—that will continue to guide Genesis Pediatrics for generations to come.
Dr. Goodfellow and her husband have long made their home in Gates, where they raised four children while growing the practice. Today, they enjoy gardening, traveling, and cherishing time with their grandchildren, carrying forward a life rooted in family, service, and joy.
