We would like to let you know that Genesis Pediatrics has started a new project as part of the national quality improvements effort for medicine to be even better for you and your family. Genesis Pediatrics is working toward certification for becoming a “Patient Centered Medical Home” (PCMH). What does that mean to you? First it means that our motto, “Quality care from the beginning”, will be officially recognized for what it is – putting our patients at the center of what we do. The family, the physician, and the patient will work together with the goal to make improvements to:
• Increasing access to care.
• Engaging patients in their care.
• Creating Care Coordination Teams and Specialists.
• Obtaining patient/family feedback.
