Overwhelming Call Volumes

So. Many. Calls.

phone

We understand the growing concern in the community with the COVID19 pandemic. As a result, there has been a significant increase in our call volume to the office on a daily basis. While we do want to address all of your concerns, our triage nurses are very focused on addressing sick patient issues in the most timely manner possible.  We have “all hands on deck” here at GP!  In addition, our After Hours Night Nurse Triage is experiencing an overflow of patient calls.

Our Requests

That being said, we ask that you:

  1. Please do not call the office with non-medical issues at this time.

  2. Please call your pharmacy for refill requests. The pharmacy will send us a request and your provider will process.

  3. Please do not call After Hours for non-urgent prescription refills. Please call your pharmacy when it opens in the morning.

  4. Please use the Patient Portal as much as possible for non-urgent issues.

  5. Please do not call the office to acquire your child’s blood type. This is not information that we have readily available in your child’s chart.

We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding. Our focus is to improve our ability to care for our patients during this very challenging and ever-evolving time.

THANK YOU.
