IMPORTANT Regarding Walk Ins Beginning March 16th.

Suspension of Walk Ins for Respiratory Symptoms

As of Monday, March 16th, Genesis Pediatrics is suspending all walk-in appointments for respiratory symptoms.  We are making every effort to keep our patients and our community safe by encouraging you to stay home if possible!

If you or your child has ANY of the following criteria, PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE OFFICE, PLEASE CALL FIRST:

  • Contact with a confirmed COVID-19 (+) case.

  • Travel outside of the Rochester area in the last 14 days.

  • Fever (temperature >= 100.4 F)  and cough and shortness of breath/respiratory distress.

  • NOTE:  In addition, if your child is a student in the Greece Central School District and has the above symptoms, PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE FIRST, DO NOT JUST COME IN.

If you have questions about treatment of fever or cough, please refer to our Genesis Advice Packet (GAP) which can be found on our website for advice and medication dosages. This will provide advice and information regarding medication doses, which helps keep our phone lines open and triage nurses available both during office hours and overnight.

Please continue to follow the recommendations of the Monroe Country Health Department which includes proper hand hygiene, avoid touching your face and social distancing. If you can stay home, please stay home!  #flattenthecurve #socialdistancing
