IMPORTANT: Genesis Pediatrics will only be offering the injectable flu vaccine (a “shot”) for this flu season. The intranasal FluMist is still not available based on the previous recommendation from the CDC due to its ineffectiveness.
It is recommended that all children ages 6 months and older receive the injectable flu vaccine.
