Medicine Disposal

Prescription drugs can provide life saving benefits.  Unfortunately, in the wrong hands they can also be very dangerous.  Curious young children and ill-advised teens both face serious harm when prescription drugs are misused.

For this reason the Drug Enforcement Administration’s hold a National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.  This allows the public a safe and convenient way to dispose of the medications responsibly.

This year, Take-Back Day is this Saturday, April 26th from 10:00-2:00.  To find a Monroe County site near you, check out: https://www.deadiversion.usdoj.gov/NTBI/ntbi-pub.pub?_flowExecutionKey=_c6BD6F1BE-5A42-4F6B-B952-6AE77394F229_k9E346109-00BC-23A8-3FDE-C1CB5D3FF916
