Sydney Jakes is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care (CPNP-PC) through the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB). She completed her Master’s degree as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of Rochester School of Nursing. Prior to that she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Bio-medical science at RIT and then went on to pursue her BSN through University of Rochester School of Nursing’s accelerated nursing program. Before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner she worked as a nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department and MICU Stepdown Unit at Rochester General Hospital. She currently lives in Spencerport, NY with her husband and children. Sydney is passionate about working with children and their families and enjoys being able to educate and support them in managing their health concerns throughout all developmental stages.
