A Couple of Important PSAs

Masking An Infant Is A No-No!

It has come to our attention that social media “Mommy Groups” are recommending that a facial mask be attached to an infant’s pacifier and the elastic should go around their ears.  This is a HUGE RISK to that infant, as it increases the risk of suffocation.  This is NOT recommended!  Keep those babies AT HOME!

Social Distancing Also Includes the Family Dog

There has been a recent increase in dog bites in the local Pediatric Emergency Room. These bites are coming from family dogs who get provoked.  As families are all at home together during this pandemic, please keep in mind that pets continue to need their own space, as well. Please keep a close eye on young children when they are spending time around the family dog who could also feel more stressed during these uncertain times.
